Women used to stop my mother in the street and thank her for my father 'keeping an eye on them'. He seemed to go through air raids with the wonder and gusto of a small boy.

Instructions for use of the Form included:

POSITION of Occurrence address or similar
BOMBS, Type and Number number on left of type and a ring drawn around both type and number
UXBs give type, number and precise location
TIME of Occurrence use the 24 hour clock
